1942 Harley Davidson XA Exhaust Pipes

Recently we took on the challenge of helping Milan from Milan's Motorcycles build exhaust tubes for 1942 Harley Davidson XA.

After we made initial measurements and test samples, he was able to bring in an engine block, frame and muffler to start fine-tuning and tweaking the dimensions to ensure perfect clearance fit.

1-1/2" x 16ga stainless tubes are CNC mandrel bent to ensure accuracy and repeatability.

Only 1000 of these bikes were made for the US Army to test for use in WWII (XA stands for Experimental Army), but they never did put a full production order for them so they are a rare piece of history.

Check out the photo gallery of the parts we made for him (and bonus ones of a finished bike that sold at auction).
